    vibrant visuals for every body is a bad idea, a nintendo switch is ganna crash the first milisecond you turn it on, its not that good any way, it doesn't look that good. if they made it so vibrent visuals did work for every body, it would look worse, so this isn't a good idea

    Vibrant Visuals delivers stunning Minecraft upgrades—volumetric fog, directional lighting, enhanced water—standard on Xbox, PS5, and high-end PCs. Yet months after launch, Nintendo Switch 2 gets nothing. The community is furious: nearly 300 upvotes and dozens of comments demand a dedicated Switch 2 edition with Vibrant Visuals, higher render distance, and Joy-Con mouse mode. The hardware can handle it—original Switch runs Cyberpunk 2077 and 10,000 TNT explosions. No technical barrier exists.
    So why the silence? Microsoft holds the answer. As Mojang’s owner, they prioritize Xbox and PC to funnel players into their ecosystem. Nintendo is a direct rival. Why invest in enhancing a competitor’s platform? Better to leave Switch users with outdated visuals—or push them to buy an Xbox. Negotiations with Nintendo likely stall over licensing, costs, or cold corporate strategy.
    In 2025, this exclusion is outrageous. Minecraft thrives on cross-play and accessibility. Instead, an entire device family is locked out of core upgrades—not because it can’t run them, but due to corporate rivalry. It’s anti-player, anti-community, and a betrayal of Minecraft’s spirit. Switch 2 deserves Vibrant Visuals now.

    My son wants Mojang to know that kids who play on Nintendo deserve to have vibrant visuals too. If the switch can’t handle it, the switch 2 should have the option. I hope this is in the pipeline.

    Months later, I'm still holding out hope for a Switch 2 release of the game just for this. I see so many videos of people using this feature and I feel so left out because I don't play on PC or ps5. I do understand it might be difficult or take time, but I hope at least we can hear something about why/why not.

    Please add it to Nintendo Switch/Switch 2 cos they added it to the PS4/Xbox 1 so we as Nintendo switch/ switch 2 players also deserve to have the same experience. to add onto this, I would really appreciate it if the Switch 2 got a free optimised update, as I love playing on it, but it is nowhere near optimised.
