Hello dear Minecraft-Team,
I am a huge fan of the armor trims, but unfortunately i think there is one aspect missing: the uniqueness. I suggest a change based on the player - uuid. By looking at each players unique sequence of numbers, you can integrate a new function. Based on the number you can decide which pixel of the armor is getting couloured. For example the first 8 numbers specifys the pattern. Then the different armor pieces. The first 4 digits are the helmet. The second the chestplate, then the pants. At the last sequence, the first 4 digits are the boots. The last ones specifys the gradation of the coulours. For example out of the diamond, you have different brightnesses of the blue. There is a normal type of colour, a darker, a brighter and a even more brighter variant. I hope you can implement that. I think it is a cool idea and would improve the playwise immense. Btw, you can make a really rare armor trim in game for it, that cant be duplicated. It can only be found in spawner rooms for example.
I wish you best luck in developing it
