
While I really like the work you guys are doing with Vibrant Visuals, I noticed that clouds were made much thinner in the 1.21.80.25 Beta & Preview compared to previous versions. The thickness of clouds should either be reverted to how they were in 1.21.70 because I don’t think it’s very realistic and doesn’t really match with Minecraft’s established style.
If the team is looking to change the way clouds are rendered in the game, I think they should instead:
- experiment on making the thickness of clouds variable and random with each cloud in the sky,
- experiment with making the clouds float at different y values in the sky (with higher clouds being more transparent and lower clouds being opaquer).
