Ants as new food for armadillos

While walking around the savannah, you can find special anthill blocks in which ants will live (similar to fireflies), Besides being an animated block, it also interacts with armadillos in a special way.

The armadillos approach such a block, and begin to eat the ants. When they finish eating the block, it will lose all the ants and will restore them

Since spider eyes are a rather strange food for the little armadillos, ants could become a new food source for their reproduction.
