New structures generate in biomes bordering river or ocean biomes occasionally, called the Fisherman's Shack containing a fisherman villager that fishes using a fishing rod and can trade his catch of the day, amongst other fishing treasures and desires. The Fisherman's Shack contains a loot chest also, containing raw fish, sticks and string, coal, and more rarely, enchanted books, nautilus shells or even a new armor trim or banner pattern related to fishing. If you fish near a fisherman, your chance of receiving treasure items is increased slightly, unless you hit him, of course. And if you're feeling barbaric, if you kill the fisherman while he is fishing, he has a 25% chance to drop the item he was fishing up! Also, if you do kill the fisherman, don't fret, you don't have to travel thousands of blocks to find another shack just to find another fisherman; instead the fisherman's shack will have the same spawning rules as a witch swamp hut in that another fisherman will spawn again after 40 minutes or so.
