Coloured dot name indicators

When I play a minecraft world with my family for example, there is usually more than one person on at the same time. And with the locator bar coming it the "Summer Drop" it could be difficult to know which coloured dot is who. But if their was a "coloured dot indicator" let's say at the top right of the screen, it can have a coloured dot and next to it in small writing their username to indicate what dot they are. Also if their is more than 4 people it the world, it will show the first 4 and then say + however many more people there are. The more people can be displayed it the menu or somewhere else it could fit. It would then solve the problem of the dots.
