Stair's new craft

The stair is made of 6 blocks so have 3 steps at the craft, but when we craft it, have only 2 steps and four stairs, so i think stairs should be made with only 3 blocks

    That would make the stonecutter useless, but it makes sense.

    the stone cutter
    and maybe a wood splitter crafting station wouldn't be useless because it can still let you see only the wood or stone crafting receipts in your inventory.
    and it still lets you craft automatically with just one block
