the wandering merchant gives you a suspect soup

every time the wandering merchant appears and you look at his new offers, he will always give you a suspicious soup and you will never know its effects as they will always vary.
it is a very simple way for the players to watch what the merchant offers them every now and then while they get their suspicious soup.
this for new players I think it's good

  I imagine the players eating the soup given to them by the wandering merchant for the first time and getting poisoned.
