Always Online Servers is my idea of a free realms subscription (meaning no paying at all), and is available for all players. What is a AOS?
1. What is an AOS?
It’s a singular world that you choose to have available to friends when you are onlijr. Say you are offline. Friends can’t join that world. But if you are online but not on minecraft, this dedicated server will be online with one world for your friends to play. Cross saving is on.
2. How is it helpful?
If you aren't in the mood for minecraft, but happen to be online on PC, Xbox, Mobile, or PS, that server will go online for as long as you are online.
If this idea was to implemented, start the server, go to "Worlds" and click the new option "Always Online World". It will prompt you to choose a singular world to use in the server. It will make a copy of the world in that server, BUT the world syncs with the original world. So, any progress made on the dedicated server will also happen on the original world on any device thanks to cross progression.
Please read this through! I think this is a very good idea!
