I help manage an esports center at a university. We use GGleap to help facilitate our 10 gaming PCs. We give access to a large suite of games some of which we purchase. We have had a number of requests from groups and clubs who want to host "Minecraft Parties". They do not want to use educational versions of Minecraft. They also do not want to purchase their own licenses; they would like to "check-out" and use licenses from our center like our other games. We would like to be able to buy and manage regular Minecraft licenses using ".edu" email addresses. Currently, it seems like only gmail and yahoo email addresses work to create a Minecraft account. I propose that Java and Bedrock Minecraft licenses (non-educational licenses) work for ".edu" email address so that our center can make them accessible to causal players/groups who want to have a Minecraft Party without purchasing a personal license for every group member.
