Trying to be brief. My daughter (6yo) started playing Minecraft creative mode. She spawned a cat and saw that spawning another cat made it a kitten and she did it once more for a total of two cats and two kittens in her house. She then had a mishap of trying to feed the cats a bucket of fish which started to flood the house and in a panic of trying to keep the cats safe from drowning she broke down a wall and the cats were swept outside and we couldn't figure out how to get them back inside.
At night time (IRL) she was still concerned for the cats and said that she hoped the kittens wouldn't get lost from their mothers. I told her that the game is designed such that the kittens wouldn't get lost from their mothers. She responded that it was really nice of the programmers to make sure the kittens wouldn't get lost from their mothers even though they are only game cats. She was really happy hearing that.
So my request is (if this isn't already the case) to make sure that kittens don't get lost from their mothers so that both I'm not a liar and so that my daughters empathy towards digital entities does not lead to unnecessary concern and distress. Thank you!
