Many people hate the Marketplace and I am one of them, but it could be amazing! Here is how.
- Easier way to add free content to it
- Fairer money distribution: 90% modder, 10% Microsoft
- Price limits: 10$ for Add-ons; 5$ for Maps and Resource packs, 2.5$ for Skin packs, 1$ for emotes and character creator items
- Easier interface and a free only mode (especially good for kids)
- Add-on packs: The equivalent to modpacks, either choose one from the Marketplace or create a custom one. Now you dont need to choose every add-on individually for every world you create but just choose the modpack and can also set a modpack as standard
- Additonal ways to gain Minecoins: As a bonus for achievements, as rewards in events and some for free every time the Microsoft Accounts´ birthday is reached
- Marketplace pass costs 2.50$ monthly only and can be one-time purchased for 50$
- No necessity to have Wi-Fi connection to use add-ons
- Ability to donate to Marketplace creators
- Free content doesnt need to be "bought" before being able to download it
