When exploring the overworld, many players bring swarms of their favorite furry companions: dogs. While bringing your dogs on your adventure is an easy yes, what about cats? Cats' main advantage is scaring creepers. Unfortunately, they are otherwise unable to help in any way. What if cat's could be support for your other pets, take care of finding food, or even just ride on your head?
The following are some ideas to make cats better:
- Can lick wounds of villagers, other pets, and player (heal)
- Can rest on player's head, ride on horse's head, ride on a dog's back, and dangle from a parrot's feet
- Hisses at nearby hostile mobs to slow them down
- Will go hunting or fishing at night and bring back 1-3 pieces of meat in the morning
- Carry a bundle on back
Note that these are only a few ideas and this can easily be expanded on.
