Resin used to make new Items/Tools

Why not make resin usable for new tools and items? A quick google search said that tree resin is used to make medicines and adhesives. Resin in Minecraft could be like glue for new tools or healing items. It's already used for decoration and is the only trim material that doesn't have a use outside of that. A new stackable healing item would be cool or a a grappling hook that uses uses sticky resin to stick to almost any block with ease. This would also give a additional reason to seek out the pale garden and risk coming into contact with the Creaking.

    It could be used to make medicine, which cures you of all negative status effects.

    maybe cure of specifically blindness. similar to how honey cures only poison. the resin has a connection to eyes

    They NEED to make more uses for resin.
