Friendly ranged mobs like the plank golem

I think Minecraft could use more ranged mobs on the players side since the only ranged mobs are hostile except for the snow golem. The ranged something like the plank golem from Minecraft legends They would be useful helping iron golems protecting villages. maybe you could take them to the ender dragon fight destroying crystals.

You could also set them up near your base and patrol an area around the players bed. potentially they could follow you like a tamed wolf or cat. In order to do that you would need to build them something with a small area of special blocks. while in that area they restock there arrows and heal.

I think this would make a great addition and be useful and provides something that Minecraft doesn't really have.
