Usage:
The Prismarine Perceiver checks for certain block types. You can configure the block types, as well as blocks in block tags for the Prismarine Perceiver to detect. It has an input and an output. When a certain block type is detected to the block’s input, it constantly emits a redstone signal strength of 15 from the output. This block cannot be moved by pistons and this block is immune to most explosions. This block needs a diamond pickaxe or higher to break.
The Prismarine Perceiver checks for a block in its input every 2 game ticks.
Crafting:
This block is crafted with 4 prismarine crystals, an observer in the middle of the crafting input, and 4 crying obsidian in the corners of the crafting input.
Block malfunction and ageing:
The Prismarine Perceiver block ages over time if the Prismarine Perceiver has air exposure, over 4 stages. The first stage of ageing is the block’s normal state. As the Prismarine Perceiver block ages over time, each stage into deterioration after the first stage makes the block function 10 game ticks slower. When the block fully ages, it stops working.
The Prismarine Perceiver stops working if struck by lightning, regardless of the block age. When the Prismarine Perceiver is struck by lightning, the block will turn orange, will have red cracks and will stop emitting a redstone signal.
To repair this block from lightning damage, use a nautilus shell, then the block will revert to its normal state.
The version of the Prismarine Perceiver that is damaged by lightning can only be collected with a silk touch pickaxe that is diamond tier or higher, otherwise the block will only drop either obsidian or glowing obsidian.
You can reverse the ageing process of the Prismarine Perceiver by using fire charges on the Prismarine Perceiver. To lock the Prismarine Perceiver from ageing, use glow lichen.
Upgrading:
Upgrading the Prismarine Perceiver involves crafting it using the block itself and 8 prismarine shards in a crafting table. The upgraded version of the Prismarine Perceiver can be inverted, emitting a light level of 11, and the redstone output can be set to 0-15 signal strength. Additionally, it takes longer to break, resists ageing, and is immune to lightning damage.
