This weapon has a longer range than any other melee weapon, however it has one weakness, if something gets too close you will not be able to hit them, it can also be thrown, its thrown attack does more damage than its normal attack. The normal attack does 2 1/2 hearts of damage while the thrown attack does 5 hearts of damage, this is similar to the trident however the spear doesn't go very far in water, the only enchantment it shares with the trident is loyalty.
