Lots of people liked how much more developed piglins were in Minecraft Legends compared to those in Minecraft. There are more kinds of them, they have bigger personalities, etc.
There has also been talk of including some of them in Minecraft. While this could be a whole game drop, I'm going to focus on one specific kind of piglin: the spore medic. I'm focusing on it because it has a very unique role among the piglins: rather than focusing on dealing or taking damage, it's the only support unit.
In Minecraft, the spore medic would be taller than its Legends version but still a little shorter than the other piglins. It is also the only passive piglin. It has 20 health, and two unusual abilities. One, of course, is the ability to heal. When it does this, all piglins and hoglins within two blocks of it get the regeneration effect for 5 seconds. The other ability is being able to detect how much health nearby players and mobs have. While this lets it know how much health a player and their allies have, it is mainly useful for knowing which piglins to heal.
