the fading heart is a mob similar to allays and vexes, but orange due to its link to resin and the creaking. they could spawn naturally in the pale garden on top of the leaves. they would slowly die out like vexes, making the biome have a continual turnover of fading hearts.
the purpose of this mob is to add another agile hostile mob to the biome to draw your attention from the creaking. as well as when it passes through pale oak logs, there’s a chance to leave resin. or maybe a special interaction with the pale hanging moss. there would also be a rare interaction where if it passes through a pale oak log that is surrounded by other pale oak logs, there’s a chance that the fading heart will transfer into the log and become a creaking heart. making the creaking a somewhat naturally spawning mob after a few steps.
they could also be overtly hostile towards illager mobs to link to the creaking’s existing interaction with other illager mobs. it could possibly be tamed or neutral but hunt out hostile mobs if bribed. making it more of a middle ground between allays and vexes
