Build Assist is a brand-new accessibility feature, that helps with creative and survival building, better streamlining the experience. With this feature, miss-clicks, accidental placement and slab-slabbing will become much, much easier.
What Build Assist does is detects accidents when placing blocks, such as when you create a long line of blocks but then you accidentally miss-place one. Build Assist would detect that you were creating a line of blocks (after a certain number of the same blocks, possibly a customizable amount?) and then move the block to where it should be (same with slabs). With stairs and other directional blocks (i.e. observers), Build Assist would correct the orientation of the block.
A similar feature was put in place with slabs a while back, with slabs keeping their slab type - top half or bottom half - in line with the other slabs.
Overall, this feature would be great for saving time whilst building in creative, lower the amount of misplacements and generally be a brilliant feature for streamlining creativity.
