During the day, have creakings turn to statues

Instead of the creaking simply disappearing during the day, have it freeze in place and close its eyes to blend in and creep out explorers, similar to how the eye blossoms simply deactivate during the day

    I imagine if the creaking heart was destroyed they wouldn't turn into a statue they would just de-manifest. They would only become a statue if they survived the night. Right?

    Great idea! But what do you mean by Eyeblossoms deactivating during the day?

    By deactivating I meant they close up during the day. And to the other guy, yes, they would only turn into a statue if they survived, and they would also just spawn in frozen when you first walk into the pale garden during the day.
