Resin for making detailed blocks

We should be able to place resin blocks and chip 2 pixel sized cube off of it. that makes it so there is 64 2 pixel sized cubes. and, for the people asking why not 1 pixel sized cubes: that would make the block look like its something not vanilla minecraft . and for the way to chip the resin blocks: a new tool could be added called "chisel"
with no tiers (there is only one material it can be made out of) the material that could be used to make it could be copper (which would add functionality to copper) or iron. we could stick things like bricks on it to make it look like its a block from that kind of block (bricks for example) and it cant be changed while its covered with a block (bricks). To remove the covering block, it could be placed on a campfire or a magma block. and to stop this feature, it could be "coated" by a resin item by right clicking it and could be scrapen off with an axe without dropping the resin item. 

This feature could be used in builds in order to create details on them without making it too non blocky.
