My idea is to allow the new eyeblossom flower to detect when the player looks at it, mirroring the behavior of the Creaking. The eyeblossom could output a redstone signal when it is being looked at. An extension of this idea would be to have the strength of the signal vary based on how close the flower is to the player's crosshair. This would allow for interesting redstone contraptions that react to where the player is looking, making it faster and more robust than the current Creaking-based methods that try to achieve this effect.
It might be problematic if every eyeblossom constantly performs these vision checks without reason. I propose that the flowers only behave as redstone components when they have been intentionally modified by the player, perhaps by shearing off their leaves. This would make sense, as it would keep the "eye" visible permanently.
I hope that you like my idea! if so, please vote for it, and let me know if you have ways to improve this concept further!
