amber is a substance both made by sap, and with resin by long form processes in the ground. it has many uses, including trade and jewelry, fuel for fires, magnetic properties, medicine, and much more. if wee added resin, isn't it just logical to add amber to go with it? my proposal is to add 2 ways to obtain amber in Minecraft. for 1, you can get it in ore form (it is the rarest ore in the game to that's unlikely) under the ground, or you could get amber from breaking creaking hearts (which to balance with the uses of amber would need to be rarer and creaking's would need to be even more difficult). the uses could include making a new potion that clears all bad effects, trading with villagers and wandering traders, crafting a magical item, being a hyper efficient fuel for a furnace with a long lifespan, or even attracting metal objects or sending a Redstone signal when connected to a metal block. these are just a handful of properties that amber could be used for. all i really want is a powerful and useful ore that is both rare, connected to resin processing, and can be at least a little authentic to amber's real life function.
