A few uses for resin

I feel like it would be a cool idea for decoration if u could freeze somethings in resin or have it act like a display/item frame. Also to bring some more practicality there could be a sticky resin block that when mobs or players walk on it they would get stuck half and cant escape it without mining it, kind of like honey powdered snow hybrid

    That an interesting idea. 

    Another one would be to add to other recipes, like having it with stone bricks appearing in the gaps.

    The sticky resin block could stick blocks like slime and honey for pistons, but the sticky resin block can't stick to slime and honey blocks when moved by pistons

    or it could exactly DO stick to both of those, since I dont think we need third alternative to slime blocks, this one could do other thing than honey blocks do and indeed stick to other two sticky blocks, while honey and slime ones would still not stick to each other

    With Resin being added to the game, there are so many different opportunities. Such as the optional reintroduction of->Lightable torches->Peaceful, Easy, Normal, and hardcore modes. While it's optional for any other mode. 

    In terms of Medicinal would be cool for new potion ideas. 
    In terms of Weapons and battle, would be a great mechanic if you take an arrow, and add resin flint, and steel, unlike Fire Aspect-> Which can light wooden structures on fire.  

    Resin could also be to add new tools such as more usages for the Cauldron such as dumping Water, Lava, potion effects that you add into it, or Resin onto walls and such->Farming could be a good deterrent if your walls are made of Stone and Cobble, since you would just need to light it on fire. Another idea is Tnt Arrows. Or simply firing a bundle of arrows simultaneously. 

    Many fun ideas. I just hope Mojang capitalize on the possibilities.
