When You stay too long in a cave a mobs called cave dweller spawns and tries to kill you in the cave No matter what. The Cave Dweller can destroy any items you drop or dropped when you die. The Cave dweller only purpose is the try to get the player away from the Cave. Once the Player leaves the dweller disappears until you come to a cave again.
