Firstly, a new "Quill Pen" item should be added, crafted from a feather and an ink sac in any orientation. The crafting recipe for the book and quill will be removed, and a normal book can be edited by placing it on a lectern and then right-clicking onto it while holding a quill pen. Everything else about the book stays the same (the UI, the crafting recipe of the book itself, etc.). The next feature completely changes the name tag. Name tags have been changed to empty name tags and their crafting recipe will be added. One string and one paper will make four name tags, and these can be crafted in any orientation. The name tag can also be placed on a lectern, and right-clicking on it with a quill pen will allow you to edit it. Then, the highlight of this update is the "Customizable Block." It can be crafted with one red dye, one green dye, one blue dye, and any block of the player's choice. The customizable block can be placed down and will be intangible and translucent. When right-clicking on it, you can change the appearance of said block, something that you would previously have to use a texture pack for. Then, when you click confirm, a preset in a sidebar of that texture will be saved, and the customizable block will be the chosen texture, while still having the same properties as the block used in the crafting recipe. When mined, however, it will revert to the original texture. When you shift+right-click on that block, it will reveal its true form. Happy customizing!
