Pale Gardens could be more of a threat and dangerous, while also being scarier. My idea is that pale garden trees could unleash Creaking Roots, unleashing out of the ground diagonally like spikes, that would hit and deal damage to the player (damage depending on how far the roots unleash), only if the nearest Creaking mob is chasing them. The moment the player looks at the Creaking, the roots stop attacking. These roots are basically meant to act like alternative Evoker Fangs, but for pale gardens.
This could portray an idea that Creaking Hearts are far more sinister, scarier than just controlling Creakings. They control the entire pale garden, further encouraging the player to destroy the Creaking Hearts.
