Yes please add fireflies. Them being scrapped was so sad, and they didn't have to be added just to produce froglights, they could've been added for decorative reasons too.

even better if they look like the creakings eyes, they could also be used as a motivation to go to the pale garden at night if they despawn during the day and can be obtained during the night

They could be 3 pixels instead of two to match The Creaking's eyes so that it is even harder to see in the Pale Garden.

It would be neat if the fireflies were orange in a way that can confuse players into thinking they're the eyes of the creaking.

I think Will-o'-the-wisps or fae could fit too, they might add to the eeriness- or might take away from it...

    3 pixel "fireeyes"

(also fireflies should still be added for swamps)

That would be nice and spooky.
The fireflyes could glow in the same orange as the creakings eyes.

Also, if the fireflyes only spawn in the Pale Garden, you would have an other reason to go there, besides resin an eyeflowers.

Fireflies would only work if they were infrequent and matched the Creakings eyes. Otherwise they would actually ruin the creepy vibe of the pale garden.
