Pale planks should be more "white.

The current version of these planks has pink tones; I believe they should be whiter.

    When I tried the wood out I was disappointed, because it doesn't work well with Minecraft's other white blocks (quarts, calcite, diorite).

    I think the current pale oak looks too much like cherry wood. The white is more reddish pink while most other white blocks in the game are either pure white, grey-white, or yellow-white. Either a fully white wood set or a slightly greenish blue tint would be better

    I think they could make it dyeable. The whitest planks would be "White Pale Planks".

    If the texture of the pale wood really needs a slight bit of tint (in order to not look weird) they could at least give it a different tint than pink because we already have cherry wood in the game.


    Pale wood would also fit better in with the other white blocks in the game if they changed the tint just a bit.

    Maybe the basic pale planks should be more "white" but with the possibility of dyeing? 🤔🤔

    Yeah, I know there is already a lot of dyeable blocks but isn't colorful wood something that community wants?

    Pale wood would be just far more useful for aesthetic building if it would be more white. Contrast is very important. Right now it looks like it is little dirty.

    I believe that the saturation should be turned down to zero. They shouldn't have any color.

    Disagree. No grayscale will look good for wood. They could look better hue shifted to yellow. Plain white is boring. You need those subtle tones to help make it work with other things.

    I disagree
    While the pink tones are noticeable, especially when you place them next to other white blocks such as Calcite, snow, bone, and quartz, the contrast sets it apart enough so that it gives the block a much more unique use case. All the other white blocks have this as well with their own slightly different version of white. If all the blocks were the same colour, then there would be no point in having so much whites. I imagine that builders like Grian and Bdubs are having a good time with this new wood.

    Every seems so happy about this and great. New white wood is cool, but we already had white blocks. Quartz and Iron have white doors and blocks. I hoped it was more tinted light gray, cause that would be cooler.

    Agreed, Even on normal brightness the planks hurt my eyes a little.

    I totally agree. The shade of the actual planks is too warm with pink tones. We need it in a more cold and white shade to match alle the white blocks like white concrete powder or calcite. Please

    Eh, I don't entirely agree. We should consider that it's still wood, so it's gonna have some hue to it.

    the wood should stay as it is, BUT it should be dyeable. for all the gray flowers that give you white dye, they should give you gray dye (vice versa, white for white,) they should add a new pale lily flower that givesd you white dye and it spawns in the pale garden. this way ppl who dont want it changed dont have to change it but ppl who do can dye it white. the white planks would replace the pink with a gray.

    Absolutely. I wish I could upvote this more than once. It was advertised along the lines of "You've all been asking for years for white wood - here it finally is!" And it's not white but light pink. WHY?

    I don't get it, if anything (given the desaturation of the pale garden and such) it should've been a greyish look - but pinkish? Make it make sense.

    PLEASE Mojang make it actually white. Don't give it any red/blue/green hue, just make it white with very light grey details. That's all that's needed. Thanks.

    I dont think they should be more white because its called pale planks not white planks they should be a kind of grey color
