From 1.16 and people are asking for resource support for datapacks that will be such a relief for all datapacks dev because its make the clients less confused to install 2 different things instead of 1 zip file and make the pack easier to distribute as one file. and one side note please make a datapacks folder similar to resourcepacks to make the pack go to all the world like it would with a resourcepack.
I hope this feature get added to datapacks, and sure everyone will appreciate it.
