Locking Old Update Categories

I really believe that the older update categories on this feedback website, should be locked. I am not saying it should be inaccessable, just locked so we cannot post new feedback (We should still be able to view, vote, and comment on these posts though.).

This would prevent people from posting their ideas in a category that is not as relevant anymore, that only curious people will go in to see if anyone has posted their ideas.

Why can we still post new feedback posts to old update categories, when the updates have already been released? It doesn't make alot of sense.

    The old update categories are remained open so there can be suggestions about what to add that is related to things added by that update.

    So maybe renaming the categories, and edited official pinned posts (or new ones) from Mojang to fit that description would help to clarify that is the purpose of the category.
