the shrieker is not the block instead it's a new deep dark biome.
so, you're walking through the deep dark and you hear a high-pitched scream. that means you are near by the shrieker. then your hit five blocks in the air, and a tall 4-5 block creature towers over you. a creature with eyes on each side of its thin head, it looks like one of the early designs. alright bye
