Even before ominous bottles and raids, there were some pretty cool events that could happen. For example, a leader zombie can rarely spawn that can call for reinforcements. Skeleton traps are also just awesome. The jumpscare of your life, a cool fight, and neat horses. And zombie sieges on villages! I really enjoy zombie sieges. They are quite fun, and can be a cool challenge especially if the iron golem of the village... uh... disappears.
But events like these tend to be rare.
I love building cool forts and castles in my solo survival worlds, but they just look nice. I can't spawn in tons of mobs to fight, nor can I get friends on because it's not a realm or a server. I love the challenge of raids, but they don't quite fit in all desired fights.
So, let me introduce to you: Brew an Item or Something into an Ominous Bottle to cause Cool Mob Events Anywhere You Want! (the name is a bit of a work in progress)
You want to defend your castle from hordes of zombies? Just slap an ominous bottle in a brewing stand and add rotten flesh (or something else idk) and you get waves of zombies scaled to the potency of the bottle!
You want your cave exploration to be super challenging (and a bit venomous)? Add a fermented spider eye to the bottle, shake it a bit, and BOOM! Caves are full of spiders!
There are truely awesome things that could come from this. Seige defence, epic battles, adventure, and so much more. And I can finaly test my defences against huge hordes of mobs, unmodded, no cheats.
