mud/claybricks should be made from campfire

In 1.19 they added mud blocks that could be turned into clay using dripstone to dry out the mud, but I think they should have it where you need a campfire or a heat source to dry out the mud and turn them into clay. I think they should also do the same for when trying to combine mud and clay balls in the crafting recipe by surrounding a mud block in the center with the clay balls making mud bricks or wet bricks and when placed onto campfire they dry into bricks especially in a superflat survival.
