Right now, datapack version numbers increase by one every snapshot. These will get very high very fast, so I suggest instead, every time there are datapack changes made in a snapshot, that the last datapack number from a release is used, and then ".n" is added at the end. In this case n would be the number of datapack versions since the last release. This would ensure more reasonable numbers in datapack versions. This may however be non applicable just because of the fact that the numbers have already increased to such heights the problem is already created. (As of posting the last datapack number is 49).
