When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).
This is an idea to be able to keep quasi connectivity. Add in a new redstone dust variant that allows the ability to used this feature. The crafting recipe is just one red stone one lapis lazuli. The simple crafting recipe is meant for quick craft while building. I feel that this will aid redstoners to make crazy machines with both the old and new variants.
