The new Bundle UI is a step in the right direction; allowing players to pull different items off the top of the bundle (up to 8) from the sub-menu. However, I think the previous functionality of the bundle should be preserved, while you can only remove up to 8 of the top items of the bundle, I should be allowed to "see" all items in a bundle as smaller icons.
The use case I'm trying to preserve is for my tool bundle; I would have a bundle in my inventory that at the top would have items like Crafting Table, Ender Chest, Stone Cutter, Anvil, etc. But at the bottom of the bundle would be a Clock, Recovery Compass, Regular Compass, Lodestone Compass paired with my Home Base, etc.. In the old system, I could hover my mouse over the bundle to see what time it was, the direction I last died at, where spawn is, and where my base is at a glance. If I were actively trying to find those locations, I could always pop them out of the bundle and hold them in my hand, but the bundle peek method was a nice option for doing a quick glance without unpacking the whole bundle.
So I suggest a hybrid system; the top 8 slots of the bundle use the new UI while bellow that you can see all the items in the bundle similar to the old UI (just not able to interact with them). That way we gain the new UI functionality without loosing the old UI clarity.
