Screenshots available in Bedrock Preview!

In the latest Bedrock Preview, you now take in-game screenshots and view your local gallery from your Profile.

  • Take a screenshot using the camera icon from the Game Menu
  • View your screenshot gallery from your Profile
  • Share your screenshots externally on PC and mobile devices

We are still working on this feature and have more to add, but would love to hear what you think so far!

    Maybe add a dedicated button bind for taking screenshots.

    I think I can remember it being an realms exclusive feature (aka you could only take screenshots on realms for realms stories) and thinking why it was like this. The only think to add /  change is to make keybinding (F2) for it. But yeah great change / new feature Mojang

    It would be great if screenshots were saved in a lossless format instead of a compressed format by default. This would really help prevent the quality from decreasing the more times the image is shared or copied. In addition, a native way to export the screenshot so it can be saved directly onto the players device would be great for PC and mobile users.

    I like this feature and I realise it's new and will be expanded upon.

    One thing I use screenshots for is when I design something in Creative to use in Survival.

    If there was a key bind to directly access the images that would be really good, as at the moment it takes longer to get to them than is used to refer to them. In Survival that could be dangerous.

    Also a way to share/access them from outside the game would be appreciated.

    It would be such a nice quality of life feature if there was way to multi select screenshots and share them in bulk!

    It would be great to have a dedicated button to enter the screenshot folder on the harddrive. Also an option to select where screenshots are saved on the harddrive. At the moment it's completely user-unfriendly.
