Parity means making features behave consistently across different Minecraft editions, most commonly between Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Use this category to discuss released features that exist in both versions of the game but work differently. Please note that bugs are not parity issues and should be reported separately.
You can't type § anywhere in Java Edition. It would be useful if it was possible to type because then it would allow the use of color codes. Minecraft still supports color codes, if § could be typed anywhere. I don't understand why not because it works in Bedrock Edition, no problem.
