I am currenly working on a data pack, which adds new structures to the game. One of these structures is a nether village. In the center there could be either a ruined portal, a lodestone, a lava fountain or a monument. The monument would have a warped mushroom sitting on top of it, to scare hoglins away. These would also spawn at the end of roads. The roads could be made of gravel. The houses could be similar to the ones in the plains village, but the roof is replaced by a giant mushroom that has grown over it, like the ones in the crimson forest. The oak wood would be replaced by crimson wood. The light source of the house could be a shroomlight. I´ve seen people suggest that there could be respawn anchors instead of beds, but I think that would be a bit to OP. Instead I used water cauldrons, because the inhabitans would need to cool down. I don´t think that they must have to keep animals, but they could maybe keep some striders for transportation. There could also be a decoration similar to the ice room in the ancient city. The Inhabitans could be nether villagers. There could be a new cartographer. Possible trades: spyglass wich removes nether fog and a lodestone compass to a bastion.
