So, swamp villagers are unused, and the Minecraft community wants to have them added. I suggest having new swamp villages that, unsurprisingly, generate in swamps. The thing is, all the buildings resemble witch huts, though there are different job blocks inside (except for cleric's houses). Farms generate more towards the village center, so the best way to figure out if it's safe is to see the mobs in the streets.
The thing is, there would also be witch villages, which (no pun intended) look almost exactly the same except that it is inhabited by witches (I'll admit, I took this idea from Minecraft Dungeons). The witches that live in secluded witch huts are apparently hermits. The loot in witch villages would be better than in normal witch huts, as you have to run/fight through an angry horde of witches to get it. Witch villages could not be attacked by raids.
There is another way to tell if it's safe to enter: since witch huts generate only in normal swamps, the same applies for witch villages. Swamp villages, however, can be found in both swamps and mangrove swamps.
