Greetings to the Minecraft Community! As a silly Pocket Edition player, I had an idea to share on a mob I made recently, and I wondered what you guys would think. (DISCLAIMER: Not a petition)
DESC: Anyways, the mob in question is called a Torchbug! Their purpose is to light the way for players at night, since their fur glows. They also scare away hostile mobs, too, but only ones that are affected by sunlight, (Ex: Zombies, Skeletons.) so mobs like Creepers and Spiders who don't catch on fire when they touch sunlight are not affected and will still try to attack the player. I also had the idea of Torchbugs just to make nighttime prettier. (If you know the lantern scene from Tangled, you know the kind of idea I have here. That would be a lot of Torchbugs though.) This mob can be leashed and will drop glow silk if killed, which can be used to craft glow wool, pretty patterns on beds, and special paintings! (Glow wool is GREAT for the Deep Dark, you can be a silent as a mouse AND it will light your way too!)
I can't insert a photo, so here’s a description!
APPERANCE: A extremely fluffy moth like creature with a small head, big, buggy eyes, long antennae, small goat like ears, six stubby legs with small, dull claws, and itty bitty wings. Only it's body is the part that glows (a soft yellow). OPTIONAL: Biome Variants (including different wings, colors, etc. I like to imagine the Snow Biome variant is even fluffier because of the cold weather. :D)
