Minecraft Bedrock and Java Servers at the same time

It would be great to be able to connect minecraft players on java to the bedrock server and also vice versa, I would be happy if minecraft somehow at least a little bit tried to do something for this idea or just to introduce something, as I know a lot of mobile users who want to play on either minecraft java server or with friends who have but java edition, it would be great to see a connected minecraft between bedrock and java, clearly we can argue that there are already plugins for this etc. but that's no reason not to add this feature when we already have those 2 editions of minecraft. I hope this idea gets approved or at least somehow gets done in another form. It would certainly make players happy.
