The Whiplash is a hostile creature that takes the form of a large serpent with feathered wings, two arms with claws and a whip-like tail. Spawning in both the swamp and mangrove swamp, this soaring scourge of the swamp, when locked onto you, will swoop down and swipe at you with it's tail, occasionally hitting through shields (this is unlikely however). The thing that makes this mob special is the fact that it's tameable. The method of taming is to shoot it with poison arrows until it falls to the ground, where you'll quickly need to feed it 10-20 froglights until you tame it. When tamed, it can be ridden as a decent land mount with a great jump, fall damage immunity and a slow glide. However, this creature has extremely low health when mounted, so be careful! On death, the Whiplash drops 5-7 feathers and a poison barb, which when three of them are combined with a trident, creates a stronger version of it that inflicts poison on hit. This creature is bred with mushrooms.
