Distant Horizons should be officially implemented

What more do I have to say? It's abysmal Minecraft hasn't done something like this sooner. The mod is in no way contentious so I believe it will be an objectively positive change (and users can still disable and/or customize the LODs in whatever way that matters).  

Historically mojang has implemented community mods into the base game and this is such a fantastic optimization everybody can benefit from. Official support also makes it much easier for community developers to acclimatize independently, specifically with shaders, rather than requiring direct extensive communication with DH
