Hello Minecraft Team and Community Members,
As a passionate member of the Minecraft community, I am reaching out to address an important issue regarding the Minecraft Realms service – the long-standing halt on the map submission process for mini-games and other user-created content.
For the past two years, the map submission process has been paused, with little communication about when, or if, it will resume. This is especially challenging after the recent 1.20.6 update, which caused significant issues with many existing mini-game maps, rendering them unplayable.
Given these circumstances, resuming the map submission process is crucial to inject fresh content and maintain the quality and engagement of the Realms service. Allowing the community to contribute new maps will help address current deficiencies and bring new excitement to the platform.
Community Engagement: Resuming map submissions will enable the Minecraft community to showcase their creativity and contribute to Realms' ongoing success. This participatory approach fosters a sense of ownership and connection among players.
Content Refresh: New maps will replace or update those broken by recent updates, ensuring a continuous stream of playable content. This keeps current players engaged and attracts new players
I am confident this initiative will be met with enthusiasm and support from the Minecraft commnity.
Thank you for your consideration and support.
