The Lucernian Spider would be a new variant of spider that spawns in the new Pale Garden to hunt for food. They have slightly more health than a regular spider and are slightly bigger than a cave spider. They have a navy-blue exoskeleton, "glowing" orange eyes, and melted unlit candles on its thorax. Akin to the hoglin, you can breed them with a large amount of rotten flesh to make more passive babies. The Lucernian Spider's bite, oddly enough, can give off a random potion effect (as random as possible). Another attack of theirs is firing a light blue "spirit fire" projectile from their mouth at long range. When slain, they drop string, gold nuggets, as well as a new item known as a Lucernian Spider Eye, which can be used in brewery to craft a potion, the Potion of Radiance, that gives the player an advantage against hostile mobs. As another mechanic, the Lucernian Spider can interact with cakes by dropping off their candles onto them. This mob would add to the combat of the game, gaining a new reward for fighting it.
