Recently minecraft pocket edition received an update where you can customize the control layout of touch controls. While this is a good idea, its execution is HORRIBLE. As a player who played pocket edition for 10+ years, the inch offset of the default controls really affected my gameplay and discouraged me from playing, which would be ok if this change could be reversed in the control layout customization. But no, the default controls break the rules of the control customization, and its borders prohibit any freedom in moving controls to comfortable positions, but hey I can put them in the middle of the screen now. The only way to put the controls into their old position is at a very small size, as caused by uselessly difficult borders. Additionally, the slides just don’t have sprites! Instead it’s just a dark gray box that mysteriously does something when you alter it. I understand that the control customization is in an experimental phase, but the state in which it is, is just shameful. Additionally the removal of a middle button when swimming is very annoying sinceI have to jump randomly between fingers to swim, which is just annoyingly difficult. Also the new sprites are quite ugly. To fix these HORRIBLE problems, I suggest the following be done: 1. Decrease the size of control changing borders, and remove any around screen borders. 2. Bring back the middle swim button. 3. Fix the slider sprites. 4. Allow the sprites to be toggled of the controls for one’s liking. Thank!
