The taunt would be a ghost-like mob that wears a strange mask and spawns rarely in dark forests (but not woodland mansions or ruined portals) and occasionally when a trial starts in trial chambers. They generally try to stay out of range of players' melee attacks.
Taunts are hostile mobs, though they can't actually do any damage. To attack, they shoot bolts of different colors depending on what happens when it hits. Said bolts travel a little faster than arrows (and arrows are already fast), though they are unaffected by gravity. On impact, it inflicts you with one of four status effects based on the color: Mining Fatigue, Weakness, Slowness, or a new one called Taunted.
Be affected with taunted means your character wants to take all their anger out on the taunt. This means that when you hit a taunt, it will deal a crit no matter what, but if you hit anything else, if will only deal one damage. Taunted has no affect if there are no taunts within your simulation distance.
Taunts have 32 health and are immune to all status affects, good and bad. Upon defeat, one will drop 8-10 xp and its mask. A taunt mask takes up the helmet slot and offers no armor, but makes you immune to all status effects except Dolphin's Grace.
